Security Officer

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking an experienced and reliable Security Officer who can ensure the safety of our guests and staff. As an integral part of our Security team, you will have the rewarding opportunity to help create lasting memories for our visitors. If you are a detail-oriented individual with the ability to identify potential risks and respond in a timely manner, we would love to hear from you.To be considered for this position, you must have at least 2 years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class C security license. Additionally, you must possess a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have strong problem-solving and investigative skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and patrol the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment premises to identify potential security and safety risks.
2. Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
3. Assist guests and staff with any security-related issues.
4. Investigate and document any security incidents or violations.
5. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security policies and procedures.
7. Provide regular reports to the security manager.
8. Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Class C security license.
9. Utilize problem-solving and investigative skills to assess security situations.
10. Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems.
11. Interact with law enforcement agencies as necessary.
