Job Description

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking a Training Manager, Human Resources to join their team and take their training initiatives to the next level. This key position requires an experienced professional with a passion for training and development, and expertise in Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the adult learning process, strong instructional design skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships. The Training Manager, Human Resources will have the opportunity to create and deliver meaningful training programs to increase the employee experience and productivity of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. This role requires a creative and collaborative individual who is committed to driving organizational success. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field • 5+ years of Human Resources experience in a training or development role• Proven expertise in instructional design principles, training methodology, and adult learning• Demonstrated success in designing and delivering learning solutions• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of HR systems and tools, including LMS, HRIS, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain effective relationships with Human Resources team members and other stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals.
  2. Design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning solutions and materials utilizing adult learning principles and best practices.
  3. Monitor and assess training effectiveness and implement changes as needed.
  4. Manage training budgets and resources, including the Learning Management System (LMS), Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and other necessary tools.
  5. Develop and implement strategic training plans for all levels of employees.
  6. Analyze training data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  7. Create and maintain consistent policies, procedures, and processes for training and development.
  8. Stay up to date on new trends and technologies in training and development.
  9. Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure training initiatives support business objectives.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and partners.
