VP, Corporate Controller

ServiceMaster is looking for an experienced VP, Corporate Controller to join our team and provide financial leadership and guidance to the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, as well as excellent management and leadership skills. The VP, Corporate Controller will be responsible for directing the corporate accounting operations in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ServiceMaster’s accounting policies and procedures.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and possesses a collaborative style. The successful candidate must have a passion for delivering results and be committed to providing high-quality financial information and analysis.This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and at least 10 years of experience in a senior-level accounting role. This position requires the successful candidate to be a hands-on leader with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous process improvement. Above all, the VP, Corporate Controller should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Responsibilities:

1. Direct corporate accounting operations in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ServiceMaster’s accounting policies and procedures.
2. Provide financial leadership and guidance to the organization.
3. Develop and maintain financial reporting and internal control processes.
4. Monitor and analyze financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
5. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
6. Oversee accounting staff and provide direction on day-to-day operations.
7. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team.
8. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
9. Lead projects related to financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
10. Stay up to date on industry trends and new accounting regulations.
