Job Description

Develop, design, and implement the Product Content organization's taxonomy, ontology, and metadata management strategy. Including data governance and versioning. You will collaborate closely with cross functional partners, writers, editors, and engineering to assess current content organization, and improve terminology, taxonomy, navigational structure, and task flows. Contribute to all aspects of the information architecture program and vision, developing roadmaps, creating alignment, training, and updated processes to continually improve the product experience. Monitor the performance of information investments with KPIs and other analytical tools. Stay abreast of industry trends in content development, content management, content delivery, and the user experience of information and provide thought leadership on integrating new approaches as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of direct responsibility for information architecture developing taxonomies/ontologies to support a variety of systems

  • Experience with Ontology Management tools (e.g., CENtree, Semaphore, Mark Logic, TERMITE, Top Quadrant, Protégé)

  • Experience in information development (product documentation) in a high-tech industry, preferably in a SaaS environment

  • Experience with XQuery and/or other scripting languages for XML analysis
