Job Description

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our software sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with vendors.   1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for software products, services and solutions.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality.
  3. Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for the company.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and finance, to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
  6. Monitor industry trends and developments to anticipate changes in the software market and adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
  7. Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying business requirements to contract execution and vendor management.
  8. Develop and maintain a vendor database, including vendor performance metrics and contract details.
  9. Monitor and track vendor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to software sourcing.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sourcing strategies, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on software sourcing, providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new sourcing technologies to continuously improve the company's sourcing processes.
  14. Represent the company in negotiations with vendors, maintaining a professional and collaborative approach.
  15. Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize the company's software sourcing operations.
