  1. Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain safety programs and initiatives.
  4. Train and educate employees on environmental health and safety practices and procedures.
  5. Monitor and track safety metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Conduct investigations into safety incidents and accidents, and develop and implement preventative measures.
  7. Stay informed and up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices for environmental health and safety.
  8. Work closely with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Develop emergency response plans and procedures to address potential environmental and safety hazards.
  10. Lead safety committees and engage with employees to promote a culture of safety across the organization.
  11. Oversee the management of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  12. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as community organizations and government agencies, to promote environmental health and safety initiatives.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of environmental health and safety programs.
  14. Prepare and present reports to management on safety performance, incidents, and compliance.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all environmental health and safety related matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Health And Safety, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In Environmental Health And Safety.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Safety Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Lead And Train A Team.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Preferred.
