Calling all sports enthusiasts! Sirius XM Radio is seeking a talented and passionate Associate Producer for PGA TOUR Radio. As the Associate Producer, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of the dynamic and exciting world of professional golf. We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, creative, and driven to deliver high-quality content to our listeners. If you have a strong understanding of the PGA TOUR, excellent communication skills, and a knack for storytelling, then we want to hear from you! Join our team and help bring the excitement of the PGA TOUR to our audience.

  1. Research and develop compelling story ideas and content for PGA TOUR Radio programming.
  2. Collaborate with producers and hosts to create engaging and informative show segments.
  3. Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy of content.
  4. Write scripts and prepare show rundowns for on-air talent.
  5. Coordinate and schedule interviews with players, coaches, and other guests.
  6. Edit audio clips and soundbites to be used in show segments.
  7. Manage and maintain the show's social media presence.
  8. Monitor and analyze listener feedback and ratings to continuously improve content.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in the world of golf.
  10. Assist in live show production, including operating audio equipment and managing phone calls.
  11. Collaborate with other departments within Sirius XM to provide cross-promotional opportunities.
  12. Maintain relationships with PGA TOUR officials and players to secure exclusive content and interviews.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring interns or junior producers.
  14. Adhere to company and FCC guidelines and standards for on-air content.
  15. Continuously seek out ways to innovate and improve the overall quality of PGA TOUR Radio programming.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Radio Production, Preferably In Sports Broadcasting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Golf And The Pga Tour, Including Players, Tournaments, And Current Events

  • Proficiency In Audio Editing Software, Such As Adobe Audition Or Pro Tools

  • Excellent Organizational Skills And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously Under Tight Deadlines
