As a Talent Booker, you will play a crucial role in booking top-notch guests for our shows and events, ensuring the continued success of our programming. If you have a proven track record of booking high-profile guests, a strong network of industry contacts, and a passion for discovering new and emerging talent, we want to hear from you!   1. Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including agents, managers, publicists, and talent representatives.
  2. Identify and book high-profile guests for shows and events, including musicians, comedians, and other entertainment personalities.
  3. Constantly research and discover new and emerging talent to feature on our programming.
  4. Collaborate with producers and hosts to brainstorm and strategize guest ideas and concepts for shows.
  5. Negotiate contracts and ensure all necessary paperwork and legal agreements are completed.
  6. Coordinate logistics for guest appearances, including travel, accommodations, and schedules.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the music, comedy, and entertainment industries.
  8. Attend industry events and conferences to network and scout for potential guests.
  9. Communicate effectively with guests and their representatives to ensure a positive and professional experience.
  10. Meet and exceed booking goals and targets set by management.
  11. Assist with other tasks and projects as needed to support the success of our programming and network.
  12. Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with colleagues and other departments within Sirius XM.

  • Experience In Talent Booking: This Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of The Talent Booking Process, Including Negotiating And Securing Contracts With Artists And Their Representatives.

  • Knowledge Of Music Industry: A Successful Talent Booker At Sirius Xm Radio Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Music Industry, Including Current Trends, Popular Artists, And Emerging Talent.

  • Strong Network And Connections: The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Artists, Agents, And Industry Professionals Is Crucial In This Role. A Talent Booker Should Have A Strong Network And Be Able To Leverage These Connections To Book Top Talent For Sirius Xm Radio.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: Effective Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For A Talent Booker To Successfully Secure Top Talent For Sirius Xm Radio. This Includes Being Able To Effectively Communicate The Value Of The Opportunity And Negotiate Fair Contracts.
