- Build and maintain relationships with record labels, booking agents, and artists to source potential talent for radio shows and events
- Negotiate contracts and fees with artists and their representatives, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial agreements
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to curate and plan events featuring booked talent
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, popular music genres, and emerging artists, in order to make informed decisions and recommendations for booking talent
- Manage and maintain a database of contacts in the music industry, as well as track and report on booking activity and success rates
- Coordinate travel, accommodations, and other logistics for booked talent, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved
- Attend concerts, festivals, and other industry events to network and discover new talent
- Act as a representative of Sirius XM Radio at industry events and build brand awareness and recognition within the music community
- Continuously strive to improve and innovate the talent booking process, finding new and creative ways to showcase and promote artists on our platform.
Experience In Music Industry: A Talent Booker At Sirius Xm Radio Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Music Industry, Including Knowledge Of Different Genres, Artists, And Trends. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Previous Work In The Music Industry, Such As Booking Talent For Concerts Or Managing Artists.
