Cashier

At Smart & Final, we are searching for a Cashier to join our team and help provide our customers with a positive and efficient shopping experience. Our ideal candidate will be an efficient and organized individual with a commitment to excellent customer service.The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Cashier should have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or in the retail industry. A high school diploma or GED is required. Responsibilities:

-Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner -Provide customers with accurate information on product availability, pricing, and other related inquiries -Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently -Process payments and issue receipts -Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner -Maintain an organized and clean checkout area -Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of store promotions and policies -Perform cash handling and reconciliation tasks -Assist with stocking shelves and other related tasks as needed
