Service Clerk

We are looking for an exceptional Service Clerk to join our Smart & Final team! Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who loves interacting with customers and providing superior customer service. To succeed in this role, you should have an excellent understanding of customer service principles, retail operations and inventory management. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide them with superior customer service.
2. Accurately process customer payments and transactions.
3. Maintain inventory levels and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock.
4. Assist customers with product selection and advice.
5. Assist with merchandising activities, such as displaying products and setting up promotional displays.
6. Ensure store is clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
7. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
9. Assist with training of new staff.
10. Provide feedback and suggestions to management on improving customer service.
