Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join the SoCalGas team. We are looking for an individual with a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.This position requires excellent problem-solving abilities, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience in a call center or related environment, along with a High School Diploma or GED. We are seeking someone who is committed to providing exceptional customer service, and is able to respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.If you have an outgoing personality, the ability to think on your feet, and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Utilize problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  3. Maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with customer data and inquiries.
  4. Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Utilize excellent communication skills to ensure customer inquiries and complaints are handled with care and understanding.
  6. Monitor customer service performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  8. Stay up to date on all products and services offered by SoCalGas.
  9. Make sure customer inquiries and complaints are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
