Field Technician

We are seeking an exceptional Field Technician to join SoCalGas. This role requires an individual with strong technical and problem-solving skills, who is both customer-focused and safety-minded. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with others. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to learning and development and be eager to take on new challenges.The Field Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of job duties, including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of SoCalGas equipment within the service area. The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license, good mechanical aptitude, and experience in the field of natural gas or related field. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain SoCalGas equipment within the service area.
2. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
3. Diagnose and repair natural gas system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair activities.
6. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve any technical issues.
7. Stay informed of industry trends, new regulations, and best practices.
8. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
9. Respond to emergency service calls when necessary.
10. Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
