Job Description

At SoCalGas, we are looking for an exceptional Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for compliance and the ability to think strategically and independently.The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Law, as well as at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Other required qualifications include strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to interpret and synthesize complex regulatory documents. The successful candidate should also have a solid understanding of corporate governance and risk management principles.We are looking for a diligent and highly motivated individual who is eager to take on new challenges and make an impact at SoCalGas. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze local, state, and federal laws and regulations to ensure that SoCalGas is operating in compliance with all applicable standards.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Advise SoCalGas management on applicable laws and regulations and recommend changes to existing practices to ensure compliance.
  4. Identify and assess potential risks related to regulatory compliance and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  5. Ensure that internal audits and reviews are conducted to assess the effectiveness of compliance policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and review employee activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Develop, document, and present training programs for employees on relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Prepare and review reports related to regulatory compliance and submit to relevant authorities.
  9. Investigate and respond to alleged violations of applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as necessary.

Compensation
