Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Legal Assistant to join our team at the Social Security Administration. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and legal support to Social Security attorneys. This position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. Social Security law, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative and legal support to Social Security attorneys.
  2. Maintain accuracy and efficiency while managing multiple tasks.
  3. Stay up-to-date on U.S. Social Security law and regulations.
  4. Manage records and documents related to Social Security cases.
  5. Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
  6. Research case law and other legal issues as needed.
  7. Represent the Social Security Administration in court proceedings.
  8. Assist with trial preparation and other litigation tasks.
  9. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
