Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Apply expertise in finance, financial analysis, financial modeling and strategic thinking to help identify and resolve unusually complex issues. Support, contribute, and develop the annual 10-year business case models and presentations and opportunity specific business cases that have a major financial or operational impact to ECS. Gather information from sources both internally and externally and develop forecasts and ranges of financial outcomes for individual strategic opportunities. Determine main drivers for business success and likely areas of risk or weakness and recommend strategies to mitigate them. Support development of presentations and recommendations on whether to proceed on specific opportunities to ECS senior management. In coordination with SCE Finance, develop, maintain and govern the underwriting criteria for capital investment for ECS.

Job Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant finance and business operations experience.

  • Experience developing business cases, investment analysis, and driving implementation and adoption of financial assumptions

  • Passed CF Level I exam + or FP&A Certification
