Facilities Specialist

Create Statement of Work documents for RFP and maintain contracts for facilities services such as janitorial, waste & recycling, pest control, landscaping, and other external services to name a few. Obtains multiple bids from competing contractors. Perform job walk-downs with vendors, engineers, supervisors, and managers. Work with Purchasing to ensure vendors are approved, vetted and insured. Assist with DoD badging, ITAR & NDA requirements, and safety training. Creates RFPO’s and assists the buyers with vendor selection. Ensures Purchase Orders are accurate with no cost over runs. Validates Purchase Orders are issued before work begins. Validates invoiced amounts are correct and work is complete before payment approvals. Project Management - Tracks and reports out spending and project schedule. Manages projects as assigned. Works closely with government lease holders and civilian building owners for site planning and approvals, requests, dig waivers, outage coordination and meet with the SpaceX end users, and establish the scope of work
