As the Assistant Bakery Manager, you will assist in managing all aspects of the bakery department, from ordering and inventory to training and supervising team members.   1. Manage all aspects of the bakery department, including ordering and inventory management.

  3. Create and maintain a welcoming and organized bakery department that meets Sprouts Farmers Market standards.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the bakery department.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase bakery sales and profitability.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
  7. Collaborate with the bakery manager to develop and execute promotional events and displays.
  8. Conduct regular quality control checks on baked goods to maintain high standards of freshness and taste.
  9. Assist in creating and updating bakery department policies and procedures.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve the bakery department.
  11. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Assist with scheduling and managing bakery department staff to maintain proper coverage during all business hours.
  13. Perform administrative tasks such as payroll, budgeting, and reporting.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
