  1. Assist in managing all aspects of the vitamin and HBA (health and beauty aids) department, including inventory management, ordering, and merchandising.
  2. Educate customers about the benefits and proper usage of vitamins, supplements, and natural body care products.
  3. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new trends and developments in the health and wellness industry.
  4. Work closely with the Vitamin/HBA Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  5. Train and mentor team members to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  6. Monitor and ensure proper pricing and labeling of all products in the department.
  7. Assist in creating and executing promotional events and displays to drive sales.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized department, ensuring that all products are stocked and displayed correctly.
  9. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  10. Stay informed about and comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  11. Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  12. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in managing shrinkage.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve the department and contribute ideas for new products and promotions.
  14. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and ensure that all team members do the same.
  15. Perform any other duties assigned by the Vitamin/HBA Manager or store management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Vitamins And Health & Beauty Aids (Hba) Products: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Vitamins And Hba Products, Including Their Uses And Benefits. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Helping Customers Make Informed Purchasing Decisions And Managing Inventory Effectively.

  • Previous Retail Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Vitamin Or Hba Department, Is Required For This Role. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Customer Service, Sales Techniques, And Inventory Management.

  • Leadership Skills: As An Assistant Manager, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Qualities, Including The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team Of Associates. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Creating Schedules, Delegating Tasks, And Handling Any Customer Or Employee Issues That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Team Members, And Upper Management, As Well As Provide Clear And Concise Instructions To Associates.

  • Passion For Health And Wellness: A Passion For Health And Wellness Should Be A Key Qualification For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Genuine Interest In The Products Sold At Sprouts Farmers Market And Be Able To Convey This Enthusiasm To Customers And Team Members.
