1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Ensure shelves are fully stocked with high-quality and fresh products.
3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management when items need to be reordered.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery department, including rotating and facing products.
5. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with finding products and answering any questions they may have.
6. Use product knowledge to make recommendations and suggest complementary products to customers.
7. Operate cash register and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
8. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
9. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department and store goals.
10. Attend trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date on products and promotions.
11. Assist in receiving and stocking deliveries.
12. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
13. Actively promote healthy living and educate customers on healthy food choices.
14. Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards customers and coworkers.
15. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
16. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
17. Follow proper cash handling procedures and accurately balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
18. Keep up-to-date with current sales and promotions to effectively communicate to customers.
19. Use equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and stock products.
20. Continuously learn about new products and make recommendations to customers.
