
Service Desk Technician
At SS&C Technologies, we are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Service Desk Technician. We are looking for someone who has a passion for technology and customer service and is committed to providing excellent service to our clients.The ideal candidate for this position should have a solid technical background and be comfortable with providing phone and email support for a wide variety of customer inquiries. They should be self-motivated, organized, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• An in-depth understanding of Windows OS, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems• Working knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware components• Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIf you have the qualifications and experience required for this role, and you are passionate about providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide phone and email support to customers with inquiries
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Maintain customer service standards and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Document customer inquiries and resolutions in the service desk system
- Monitor service desk queues and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues before they become major problems
- Keep up to date with new technology developments and industry trends
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
