Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Mass Spectrometry Staff Scientist to join the Stanford University team. This individual must have a passion for developing and improving methods to analyze biological samples using mass spectrometry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing mass spectrometry strategies to solve complex problems in the biological sciences. This position requires an individual with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as a deep understanding of mass spectrometry technologies and instrumentation. The Mass Spectrometry Staff Scientist must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, as part of a dynamic and diverse team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in the biological sciences, with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field. Prior experience with liquid chromatography, ion mobility, and/or mass spectrometry software is preferred.
