We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and an enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions to complex data engineering challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading insurer, to help shape our approach to big data and to shape the future of data-driven analytics.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of big data technologies, experience in developing database solutions and a strong background in software engineering. We are looking for an individual who is a creative thinker, enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and has a passion for learning new technologies.The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with focus on Big Data- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala- Working knowledge of distributed systems such as Apache Hadoop and Spark- Experience working with NoSQL databases- Familiarity with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink- Knowledge of data warehouse solutions- Ability to solve complex problems independently and in a team settingIf you are looking to join a world-class team and make an impact at a leading insurance provider, we want to hear from you!
