
Accountant
You will be responsible for the department's accounting and financial reporting systems; establishing departmental accounting and finance policy, procedure, forms and records; ensure financial controls; and provide fiscal oversight to the department's accounting functions, through either direct supervision of those functions or through directing and monitoring the work that is completed at the division level. You will also be providing professional-level expertise to department staff regarding state accounting practices and serve as the department's chief resource and troubleshooter for fiscal related questions and issues.
Knowledge of traditional accounting practices including accrual, obligations, and costs methods.
3 years of responsible professional experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management
