Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and auditing manufactured housing units to ensure they meet state and federal regulations.   1. Conduct thorough and detailed inspections of manufactured housing units to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  2. Utilize technical knowledge of building codes and manufactured housing construction to accurately assess compliance.
  3. Document and report any discrepancies or violations found during inspections.
  4. Communicate with manufacturers, builders, and other industry professionals to stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections and audits.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement improvements in the auditing process.
  7. Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards related to manufactured housing to ensure compliance.
  8. Provide training and support to other team members on auditing processes and procedures.
  9. Identify and address any potential safety hazards in manufactured housing units.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the overall quality and compliance of manufactured housing in Arizona.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Experience In Building And Construction: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Building And Construction Methods, Materials, And Codes Related To Manufactured Housing.

  • Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Manufactured Housing, Including The Arizona Revised Statutes (Ars), The Federal Manufactured Housing Construction And Safety Standards (Hud Code), And The National Manufactured Housing Construction And Safety Standards (Nfpa 501).

  • Inspection And Auditing Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Conducting Thorough And Accurate Inspections And Audits Of Manufactured Housing Units, Including Knowledge Of Inspection Procedures, Documentation, And Reporting.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As The Role May Involve Interacting With Various Stakeholders, Including Homeowners, Manufacturers, Contractors, And Government Officials.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking: The Candidate Should Have Strong Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking Skills To Identify And Address Any Potential Issues Or Discrepancies In Manufactured Housing Units.
