- Maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and youth by enforcing rules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with youth, their families, and other team members to address any issues or concerns.
- Serve as a positive role model for youth by displaying professionalism, respect, and compassion.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to provide comprehensive care for youth.
- Document all interactions and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Attend trainings and workshops to stay informed about best practices and new developments in the field of juvenile corrections.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to the care and treatment of juvenile offenders.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Prior Experience Working With At-Risk Youth, Preferably In A Corrections Or Juvenile Justice Setting.
Ability To Pass A Comprehensive Background Check And Drug Test.
Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills.
Certified In First Aid And Cpr, Or Willingness To Obtain Certification Within A Specified Timeframe.
