  1. Maintain and support the technological infrastructure of the State of Connecticut to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective services to the community.
  2. Utilize expertise in IT systems to identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operations and improve service delivery.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and agencies to assess their technological needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions and downtime.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve and modernize the state's IT systems.
  6. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the use of technology in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  7. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary security measures.
  8. Train and support end-users in utilizing various software and systems.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery of IT services.
  10. Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on projects and initiatives.
  11. Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  12. Continuously monitor and track system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  13. Contribute to the enhancement of the state's technological capabilities through research and evaluation of new technologies.
  14. Maintain accurate documentation and records of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  15. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other state agencies to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Or It Analyst Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Various Operating Systems, Such As Windows And Linux.

  • Familiarity With Database Management And Programming Languages Such As Sql And Java.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues.
