- Conducting legal research and analysis to assist in the enforcement of ethical standards for public officials and employees in Florida
- Reviewing complaints and allegations of ethical misconduct by public officials and employees
- Conducting investigations and gathering evidence to support potential ethical violations
- Drafting legal documents, including advisory opinions and findings, related to ethical cases
- Representing the agency in court proceedings and administrative hearings
- Collaborating with other team members and agencies to gather information and develop case strategies
- Staying updated on relevant laws, rules, and regulations related to ethics in government
- Providing guidance and advice to public officials and employees on ethical matters
- Participating in outreach and education programs to promote ethical behavior in government
- Maintaining accurate and organized case files and records
- Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all job duties.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Active Membership In The Florida Bar
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In The Area Of Ethics And Government Compliance
Strong Understanding Of Florida State Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Area Of Ethics And Public Service
Excellent Oral And Written Communication Skills, Including Experience Representing Clients In Legal Proceedings And Drafting Legal Documents.
