  • Conducting legal research and analysis to assist in the enforcement of ethical standards for public officials and employees in Florida
  • Reviewing complaints and allegations of ethical misconduct by public officials and employees
  • Conducting investigations and gathering evidence to support potential ethical violations
  • Drafting legal documents, including advisory opinions and findings, related to ethical cases
  • Representing the agency in court proceedings and administrative hearings
  • Collaborating with other team members and agencies to gather information and develop case strategies
  • Staying updated on relevant laws, rules, and regulations related to ethics in government
  • Providing guidance and advice to public officials and employees on ethical matters
  • Participating in outreach and education programs to promote ethical behavior in government
  • Maintaining accurate and organized case files and records
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all job duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Active Membership In The Florida Bar

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In The Area Of Ethics And Government Compliance

  • Strong Understanding Of Florida State Laws And Regulations, Particularly In The Area Of Ethics And Public Service

  • Excellent Oral And Written Communication Skills, Including Experience Representing Clients In Legal Proceedings And Drafting Legal Documents.
