  1. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all state facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  2. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all facilities.
  3. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all facilities, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  4. Manage and supervise a team of facility maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  5. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that facility needs are met and any potential issues are addressed promptly.
  6. Create and manage budgets for facility maintenance and improvement projects.
  7. Conduct regular inspections of all facilities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  8. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repair services.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance, repairs, and projects.
  10. Communicate effectively with employees and visitors to address any facility-related concerns or issues.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in facility management to continually improve the efficiency and functionality of state facilities.
  12. Promote a positive and productive work environment by fostering a culture of teamwork, communication, and accountability.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Building Codes, Safety Regulations, And Environmental Standards.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Interact With Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Budget Management And Procurement Processes.
