  1. Conduct thorough investigations into financial crimes and fraud in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  2. Utilize financial analysis techniques to identify and track suspicious financial activities and transactions.
  3. Gather and analyze evidence, including financial records, documents, and witness statements, to build a strong case against perpetrators of financial crimes.
  4. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, legal teams, and other relevant parties to share information and coordinate efforts in complex financial investigations.
  5. Conduct interviews and interrogations with suspects, witnesses, and other individuals involved in financial crimes.
  6. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to present findings and evidence in legal proceedings.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current financial regulations, laws, and investigative techniques to effectively carry out investigations.
  8. Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive financial information.
  9. Utilize various technology and software tools to aid in financial investigations and data analysis.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to prevent and detect financial fraud and crimes.
  11. Provide expert testimony and evidence in court proceedings as needed.
  12. Serve as a representative of the State of Florida in promoting financial integrity and protecting the interests of citizens.
  13. Collaborate with other team members and agencies to share knowledge, resources, and best practices in financial investigation.
  14. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in financial investigation and fraud detection.
