- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including managing schedules, organizing files and documents, and arranging meetings and appointments.
- Conduct legal research and gather information from various sources to assist the legal team in preparing for cases and hearings.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update case files and databases, ensuring all information is organized and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, contracts, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments and agencies to gather and exchange information relevant to ongoing legal cases.
- Attend court proceedings and take detailed notes, as well as assist in courtroom presentations and exhibits.
- Keep track of legal deadlines and ensure all necessary documents are filed and submitted on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect ongoing cases and inform the legal team accordingly.
- Collaborate with the legal team to improve processes and procedures for more efficient and effective operations.
Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Legal Studies Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Legal Assistant Or Paralegal.
Strong Knowledge Of Legal Terminology, Procedures, And Documentation.
Proficient In Microsoft Office And Legal Research Databases.
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Work Independently.
