  1. Oversee and execute all electrical work for state projects and facilities.
  2. Ensure the safety and functionality of all electrical systems.
  3. Uphold industry standards and regulations in all electrical work.
  4. Utilize strong background and expertise in electrical work to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  5. Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that may arise during electrical projects.
  6. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical work performed.
  8. Train and supervise junior electricians as needed.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and changes in regulations.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with other departments and agencies as needed.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  12. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems.
  13. Represent the State of Florida and the Master Electrician position in a professional and respectful manner.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing reliable and efficient electrical services for the state.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Master Electrician License Issued By The State Of Florida: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Master Electrician License Issued By The State Of Florida Board Of Electrical Contractors.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The National Electrical Code (Nec) And All Relevant State And Local Electrical Codes And Regulations.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Master Electrician: The Candidate Must Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Master Electrician, Preferably In A Commercial Or Industrial Setting.

  • Leadership And Supervisory Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Electricians. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Training, And Ensure That Work Is Completed Safely And Efficiently.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: A Master Electrician Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Troubleshoot Electrical Issues, And Provide Effective Solutions To Ensure That Work Is Completed In A Timely And Efficient Manner. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills And The Ability To Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
