
Senior Counsel - Labor and Employment

- Provide legal counsel and guidance on labor and employment matters to state agencies.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on labor and employment laws and regulations.
- Advise and assist state agencies in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to labor and employment.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to labor and employment.
- Represent the state in labor and employment-related litigation.
- Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on labor and employment disputes.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and state agencies to develop strategies for handling labor and employment matters.
- Train and educate state agency personnel on labor and employment laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze proposed and enacted legislation related to labor and employment and advise on potential impact to the state.
- Communicate effectively with state agencies, employees, and other stakeholders on labor and employment matters.
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice and recommendations to state agencies.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations.
- Mentor and support less experienced attorneys on labor and employment matters.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in labor and employment law.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all legal matters.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active Membership In Good Standing With The Florida Bar Association.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Labor And Employment Law.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor And Employment Laws, Regulations, And Precedent.
Strong Analytical, Communication, And Negotiation Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Handling Complex Labor And Employment Cases.
