  1. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for safe and effective medication use.
  3. Conduct medication therapy management and participate in medication reviews.
  4. Monitor medication therapy and ensure appropriate dosing, drug interactions, and adverse reactions.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication profiles.
  7. Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications.
  8. Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  9. Stay current with new developments and advancements in the pharmacy field.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of medication-related education and training programs.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
  12. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of medication dispensing and patient interactions.
  13. Participate in the development and management of the pharmacy budget.
  14. Serve as a resource for drug information and assist with medication-related inquiries.
  15. Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
  16. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of pharmaceutical care.
  17. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to pharmacy staff.
  18. Participate in professional development and continuing education activities.
  19. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  20. Other duties as assigned by the Department of Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Florida With No Disciplinary Actions.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pharmacy Practice And Controlled Substances.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Supervise A Team Of Pharmacists And Pharmacy Technicians.
