  1. Connect job seekers with employment opportunities: The Employment Service Specialist II will be responsible for actively sourcing and identifying job opportunities that align with the skills and qualifications of job seekers.
  2. Provide employment services: The specialist will provide a variety of employment services such as job coaching, career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation to assist job seekers in their job search.
  3. Support a diverse population: The specialist will be required to work with a diverse population and provide culturally sensitive and appropriate services to meet their unique needs.
  4. Conduct assessments: The specialist will conduct assessments to determine the skills, interests, and needs of job seekers and use that information to guide their job search process.
  5. Develop partnerships: The specialist will develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community resources to expand job opportunities for job seekers.
  6. Provide job placement assistance: The specialist will assist job seekers in securing employment by matching their skills and qualifications with job openings, providing job leads, and making referrals to employers.
  7. Maintain accurate records: The specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of job seekers' progress, services provided, and job placements.
  8. Stay updated on labor market trends: The specialist will stay informed about current labor market trends and changes in employment laws and regulations to better assist job seekers and provide relevant information.
  9. Collaborate with team members: The specialist will work closely with other team members, such as job developers and employment counselors, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to providing employment services.
  10. Adhere to program guidelines: The specialist will adhere to program guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  11. Advocate for job seekers: The specialist will serve as an advocate for job seekers, promoting their skills and abilities to potential employers and advocating for their employment needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
