Criminal Intelligence Analyst

The Criminal Intelligence Analyst II acts as a liaison for law enforcement agencies and DEPPB Pharmacist Consultants to define the scope of KASPER data queries and interpret results. Liaise with local, state and federal law enforcement and prosecutors to define the scope of KASPER data queries by conducting research and through the analysis of intelligence and investigative information. Interpret query results by performing professional level analytical work to provide data in an applicable and useful manner to support criminal investigations. Train law enforcement and prosecutors on use of the KASPER system. Provide investigative support to the Pharmacist Consultants within the OIG's Drug Enforcement and Professional Practices Branch.
