- Provide exceptional medical care to animals in accordance with state regulations and standards.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for a wide variety of animals.
- Administer vaccines, medications, and other necessary treatments to maintain the health and well-being of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed and ensure that all protocols and safety measures are followed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all animals treated.
- Educate owners on proper animal care and preventive measures to promote animal health.
- Collaborate with other team members, including veterinary technicians and support staff, to provide comprehensive care to animals.
- Stay updated on current advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to animal health and welfare.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, compassion, and ethics in all interactions with animals, owners, and colleagues.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Massachusetts Government Center through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) Degree From An Accredited Veterinary School.
Current License To Practice Veterinary Medicine In The State Of Massachusetts.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Veterinarian, Preferably In A Mixed Animal Or Large Animal Practice.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Animal Health And Welfare.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Communicate Effectively With Clients And Colleagues.
