- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors regarding pricing, delivery, or quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all purchasing activities.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all purchasing transactions.
- Stay updated on state procurement regulations and ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth purchasing process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting for procurement needs.
- Train and mentor other team members, as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing Role.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Procurement Regulations And Processes.
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Procurement Software Systems.
