  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to promote the state's initiatives, programs, and services.
  2. Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  3. Collaborate with different departments and agencies to gather information and materials for social media posts.
  4. Monitor social media trends and analyze data to improve the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  5. Respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Proactively engage with followers and build relationships with the online community.
  7. Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, algorithm changes, and new platforms to continuously improve performance.
  8. Work with graphic designers and photographers to create visually appealing and shareable content.
  9. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic social media presence.
  10. Track and report on social media metrics and use data to inform future campaigns.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing and communication strategies.
  12. Stay informed about state policies and programs to accurately represent them on social media.
  13. Monitor and report any potential reputational risks or issues on social media.
  14. Maintain brand voice and guidelines across all social media accounts.
  15. Provide training and support to other team members on social media best practices.
