  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of financial data and policies to inform budget decisions.

  9. Prepare reports and presentations to present budget information and analysis to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  10. Participate in budget meetings and discussions, providing expertise and insights to support decision-making.
  11. Identify potential risks and challenges to the state's budget and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of budget data and analysis.
  13. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of budget-related tasks and projects.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve budget and policy processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all budget and policy decisions and actions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Economics, Public Policy, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Budget Analysis, Financial Planning, Or Policy Development.

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Budgeting Processes And Policies, Specifically In The State Of New York.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Financial Modeling, With Experience Using Budgeting Software And Tools.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Financial Information To Diverse Audiences.
