- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of transportation projects throughout the state of New York.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project team members.
- Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, engineers, and community members.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and progress of construction projects.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting project expenses.
- Identify and promptly address any project delays, issues, or conflicts.
- Communicate project updates and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project change orders and negotiate with contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and other project team members.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Project Management Experience In The Construction Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Construction Management Principles, Practices, And Techniques.
Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Familiarity With Local And State Building Codes, Regulations, And Safety Standards.
