  1. Oversee the planning, design, and construction of transportation projects throughout the state of New York.
  2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project team members.
  3. Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, engineers, and community members.
  5. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and safety standards.
  6. Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications.
  7. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and progress of construction projects.
  8. Manage project budgets, including tracking and reporting project expenses.
  9. Identify and promptly address any project delays, issues, or conflicts.
  10. Communicate project updates and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  11. Manage project change orders and negotiate with contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and other project team members.
  13. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  14. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Project Management Experience In The Construction Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Construction Management Principles, Practices, And Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Familiarity With Local And State Building Codes, Regulations, And Safety Standards.
