  1. Conduct research and analysis on current health policies and their impact on the population of New York.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to develop and implement new health policies.
  3. Identify emerging health issues and trends and provide recommendations for policy changes.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing health policies and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal health policy developments and provide updates and analysis to the team.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations on health policy issues for internal and external audiences.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather input and support for proposed policy changes.
  8. Use data and evidence to inform policy decisions and ensure that policies align with public health goals and best practices.
  9. Participate in policy discussions and provide expertise and guidance on health policy matters.
  10. Communicate complex policy issues to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  11. Contribute to the development of policy briefs, white papers, and other written materials.
  12. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for promoting and advocating for new policies.
  13. Attend meetings, conferences, and other events related to health policy to represent the State of New York and gather insights and information.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to health policy development and analysis.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of health policy.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Health Policy, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Health Policy And Legislative Processes At The State And Federal Level.

  • Experience Conducting Research And Analyzing Data Related To Health Policy Issues.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems And Key Stakeholders In The New York State Healthcare Landscape.
