Job Qualifications
  • Valid Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current, Active License As A Licensed Practical Nurse In The State Of New York.

  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required. Candidates Must Have Completed An Accredited Lpn Program And Hold A Degree Or Certificate In Practical Nursing.

  • Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have At Least One Year Of Experience As An Lpn In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility. Additional Experience In Specialized Areas Such As Pediatrics Or Geriatrics May Be Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of State Regulations: Familiarity With The Laws And Regulations Governing The Practice Of Nursing In The State Of New York Is Essential. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Scope Of Practice, Medication Administration, And Patient Care Standards.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Necessary For An Lpn To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Rapport With Patients And Work Well Within A Team.
