  1. Develop and maintain relationships with local government officials and community leaders.
  2. Advise and assist local governments in understanding and complying with state laws and policies.
  3. Collaborate with local government officials to identify and address community needs and concerns.
  4. Conduct research and analyze data to develop effective strategies and initiatives for promoting positive change.
  5. Stay up-to-date on state and federal government operations and policies that may impact local communities.
  6. Provide training and support to local government officials on relevant topics and initiatives.
  7. Communicate and coordinate with various state agencies and departments to facilitate the implementation of programs and initiatives.
  8. Serve as a liaison between local governments and the state government, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement.
  10. Represent the state government at local meetings and events, advocating for the best interests of the state and its residents.
  11. Identify and address any potential conflicts or issues between local governments and the state government.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and activities with local governments.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the quality of life for New York residents.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration, Political Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working In Local Government, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of State And Local Laws, Regulations, And Policies Related To Government Operations.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Budgeting, Financial Management, And Project Management In A Government Setting.
