- Provide support to mental health therapists by assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and organizing therapy materials.
- Assist clients with completing intake forms and gathering necessary information for therapy sessions.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy rooms and common areas.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients by greeting them and providing any necessary assistance.
- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans and interventions.
- Observe and report any changes or concerns in clients' behaviors or mental health status to the therapist.
- Communicate effectively with therapists to ensure clients' needs are being met and any potential issues are addressed.
- Attend training and workshops to continually improve skills and knowledge related to mental health therapy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive client information.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Display empathy, compassion, and patience towards clients and their families.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and understanding of diverse populations to provide inclusive care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving client care and overall program functioning.
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably With Individuals With Severe Mental Illness.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Commitment To Providing Compassionate And Effective Care To Clients.
