- Provide support and assistance to mental health therapists in delivering quality care to patients.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and interventions under the guidance of a mental health therapist.
- Monitor and observe patient behavior, documenting any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Assist in identifying and addressing potential risks or safety concerns for patients.
- Attend training and educational programs to improve knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the handling of patient information and interactions.
- Create a positive and welcoming environment for patients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for patient privacy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic.
Knowledge Of Various Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Ability To Handle Stressful Situations And Maintain A Calm And Empathetic Demeanor While Providing Support To Patients.
