  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis on various investment opportunities for the state's pension fund.

  4. Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to inform investment decisions.

  10. Continuously identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pension investments.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on pension investments and provide guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  12. Represent the state's pension fund in meetings and conferences with external parties.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all investment activities.
  14. Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  15. Serve as a vital member of the team in fulfilling the mission of providing financial security for state employees and retirees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Investment Analysis, Preferably In The Pension Or Retirement Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And Investment Strategies, With A Focus On Fixed Income And Equity Investments.

  • Experience In Conducting Investment Research And Analysis, Including Risk Assessment And Portfolio Modeling.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Pension Investments, As Well As Experience Working With Pension Plans And Investment Committees.
