  1. Design and develop infrastructure projects that meet state regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most effective and efficient engineering solutions.
  3. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes.
  5. Utilize technical skills and knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
  6. Review and approve project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  7. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other relevant parties.
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and project staff.
  10. Communicate project updates and progress to superiors and stakeholders.
  11. Ensure all projects adhere to state and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  12. Participate in meetings and committees to provide input and advice on engineering matters.
  13. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and recommendations to management and government officials.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the state in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering From An Accredited University Or College.

  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License From The State Of New York.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Engineering.

  • Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulations And Codes Related To Engineering.

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
