A Doctoral Degree In Psychology: The State Of New York Requires All Licensed Psychologists To Have A Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited Institution.
Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid License To Practice Psychology In The State Of New York. This Requires Passing The Examination For Professional Practice In Psychology (Eppp) And Meeting Other State-Specific Requirements.
Experience: The State Of New York Typically Requires Psychologists To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Supervised Clinical Experience. This Can Be Gained Through Internships Or Residencies During Or After Completing A Doctoral Program.
