Cloud Manager (IT Platforms and Systems Manager)

The State of Oregon is searching for an experienced Cloud Manager (IT Platforms and Systems Manager) to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and operation of our Cloud platform and systems to ensure a secure and stable environment. If you have a passion for Cloud technology, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team leader, then we would love to hear from you.To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in Cloud management and IT infrastructure. You should also have a proven track record of success in leading teams and delivering projects in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain Cloud platforms and systems to ensure a secure and stable environment
2. Lead and develop a team of IT professionals
3. Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve potential problems
4. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for Cloud management
5. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
6. Develop and implement best practices for Cloud security
7. Monitor and report on system usage and performance
8. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Cloud systems with other infrastructure
9. Keep up with new developments in Cloud technology and recommend solutions and strategies for improvement
10. Develop and maintain documentation related to Cloud management and system architecture
